I just went a little crazy and made this:




I know - it's pink. Doesn't quite fit nigels' music... Haha

But it looks quite COOLIO with the hearts in the background!!!!



...maybe you could change the colour of the writing into green... to let it look more like nigels-stuff!!! Haha.

I just use Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady.

If you click on the image, it should take you to Photobucket, and then you can find links to post the image on the left.

I wish I had Photoshop but it's so expensive. Never heard of ImageReady before. I always use Gimp and Paint. haha

I pirated an old copy of Photoshop from my mom's work computer when she worked for a photography company. I have an updated version that came with my Mac, as well. ImageReady is a companion program with Photoshop; if you have one, you have the other. Photoshop allows you to make the images, and ImageReady allows you to animate them.

Arr Arr! lol If I had had the chance I would have done the same. I think Photoshop is pretty much the best editing program out there. I had a trial version that lasted for 30 days. Definitely not enough time to test all of the features. But it was much fun working with it. Gimp is pretty cool, too. The images sometimes end up being blurry though. But for being a freeware it's awesome. ImageReady sounds great, too. Always been a friend of animations.

I made this for the banner contest last year:




It's about 150 pics I made with paint and then I had this shareware that allowed you to combine the pics into an animation. Was a lot of work but probably not the perfect way to promote the band (beside the fact it's the wrong names and there is an apostrophe in the band's name!). lol It was a lot of fun creating it though.

i know i did a gif of chris when mission manband was on.. but no idea how i did it anymore.. haha.. think i need to look into those stuff again.. I always use jasq paint shop or what it is called.. theres also an animated area for gifs you can use..

lol Well, thanks. Doesn't look very professional but I was the proudest person when I finished it. And it was SO much fun. I think I'll make another one when I have more time. Maybe in two months. Not necessarily a nigels one though.

Do you mean the "Isn't he cute?" one? I have it on my computer.

I spent some time learning graphic design a few years ago, so I know a thing or two. I've designed websites, company logos, business cards and that kind of stuff for businesses, as well as flyers and banners for bands in and around Orlando.

I once designed an animated banner that had about 600 frames of animation, but it moved too slow, so I cut it down to about 300 or 400. It can be a little painstaking at times, but at least it looks good.
